Claudia Goulet-Blais (b. 1996, Montréal, QC) is a Vancouver-based photo installation artist and educator whose creative-research practice centres on intergenerational kinship and the process of making through performing for the camera with those close to her. Working with analog photography, ceramics, and archival imagery, she creates photographs and sculptural works that reflect on complex relational dynamics, with a focus on body language, gesture, and emotional proximity. Her work often explores aging, shared memory, and the labour of care engaging photography as both image and object. Collaboration, slowness, and materiality are central to her process, allowing space for reflection, intimacy, and vulnerability. She holds an MFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and has exhibited at FOFA Gallery, Unit_302 (Capture Photography Festival), Gallery 881, and the Libby Leshgold Gallery. Her practice has been shaped by residencies at NES (Iceland), Similkameen (Okanagan), and the Griffin x ECU Studio Fellowship.
